You can say calligraphy is in my blood, I come from two generations of calligraphers, my father and grandfather are from South America where script is taught extensively, they had a great love for this art. For the last year my mentor has been the great master penman and script historian Dr Joseph Vitolo, he has taught me the finest most elegant script available called Engrosser's Script (commonly called Copperplate) this script was used in the 19th century . My hope is that the reader will be as exited about this type of script as Dr. Vitolo and I are. I have also been lucky to have the friendship of one of the most kind hearted and talented Calligraphers, Mrs. Gail Quintero, who has inspired me immensely and has also taught me a lot about calligraphy as well as the business.
My goal is to teach and bring this beautiful fine art to modern times utilizing the same techniques and methods applied in the 19th century.
I treat each envelope as a canvas which will have a beautiful work of art specially made for my client.
